Maven Rising Summit Session: Walking the Talk: Diving in Deep to Institutionalize Equity in Your Organization
Maven Rising will bring together talented people from diverse backgrounds with different interests for a common purpose: to make South Florida thrive by incorporating meaningful diversity and inclusion into our daily practice. CURE’s Dr. Judy Lubin will be leading this session on the capacity building process that must happen at the personal and organizational levels to strengthen the foundation from which we lead, plan and implement equity-centered programs, practices and initiatives. During this session, Dr. Lubin will walk through core components of the Center for Urban and Racial Equity’s organizational change framework based on four key domains (Commitment to Equity, Shared Language and Analysis, Equitable Policies and Practices, Empowered People) and four overarching practices (Systemic Analysis, Ongoing Learning, Transformative Practices, Sustained Commitment).
