Join Beta of D.C. Chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, the International Honor Society of Sociology, and the Department of Sociology and Criminology on Critical Conversations: Key Issues for Discussing Race in America. This virtual event will feature a discussion on “Addressing Structural Racism.” The event will take place on Thursday, April 15, from 6-8 PM EST.

Dr. Marie Jipguep-Akhtar will moderate the discussion and panelist include: Dr. Ivy Ken of The George Washington University, Dr. Benedict Ngala of Montgomery College-Germantown, Dr. Britany Gatewood, currently of Albany State University, and Dr. Judy Lubin of the Center for Urban and Racial Equity.
