Embodied Justice Retreat 2025

Embodied Justice Retreat 2025
For those who feel the weight of change work in their bones and spirits, the Embodied Justice Retreat offers a unique opportunity to pause, ground ourselves, and build the strength needed for the journey ahead.
Nestled in the serene beauty of the Georgia mountains, this retreat offers space for collective healing, renewal, and embodiment practices that center Black joy, resilience, and liberation.
Last year’s inaugural retreat affirmed the urgent need for spaces dedicated to Black healing and well-being. In a world that often asks us to sacrifice ourselves in service of justice, the Embodied Justice retreat holds space for those who have given tirelessly to their communities.
“Embodied Justice felt like going home to the place your ancestors dreamed of when they dreamed of being free.” – Retreat Participant, 2024
When racial equity efforts are facing heightened scrutiny and Black changemakers are experiencing burnout, isolation, and gaslighting, this retreat provides a much-needed sanctuary—a place where you can gather, breathe, and simply be without the burden of constantly proving the worth of your work.
- Have space to process your experiences as a changemaker with the freedom to engage at your own pace.
- Practice being more in your body to release stress, reconnect with joy, and reclaim your passions.
- Create powerful visions to stay grounded in what matters most to you and your communities.
- Build meaningful connections with peers, leaving with a renewed sense of purpose and a supportive network.
