We welcome contributions to the Equitable Response Community Commons. We have a few guidelines to help users of the site easily find the resources shared here. Please take the following in mind before you post an article. Give Credit We want to give credit to the original sources of information. For each post, please start it with “From Name of Organization/Person:” that created the document or article or the organizer of the action, event or service that you’re posting. Post/Article Title If your post is related to a specific location or state, please start your article title with the name of the location, for example, “Miami: Mutual Aid Networks” or “South Carolina: Food Banks”. Link Back to Source At the end of your post, include (in bold font), “For more information:” followed by the website URL and/or contact information for the person or organization where readers can obtain additional information about the resource that you’re sharing. Photos & Graphics Please do not post photos that are subject to copyright laws, for example photos taken from news articles. Event flyers and educational materials more often than not, are fair use and can be posted on the Community Commons. Proofread and Fact Check Before Posting The Equitable Response Community Commons is a voluntary effort. We ask that all contributors review their posts before publishing to ensure that accurate information is provided including correct website links and sponsoring organization names. Hate Speech Not Allowed This is a place to support love and justice. Any posts with language or content that encourages hatred or violence or that disparages others on the basis of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, ability, immigration status, religion, country of origin, class and other social and economic backgrounds will be removed from the Community Commons. Don’t Spam–Choose Multiple Categories Instead Repeatedly posting the same content in different categories or in the comment section is a form of spam. If your post relates to multiple categories, please select those categories before submitting the post for publication. This will ensure that your post shows up in all of the relevant categories without having to submit multiple posts to different categories. No Selling/Commercial Posts Any commercial or for-profit posts will be removed from the hub. Thank you for contributing to the hub. If you have any questions, want to follow-up on a post that you submitted, or want to bring a post to our attention for editing or removal, please contact us.
