Black Women Health Imperative Launches COVID-19 Resources & Outreach Efforts

The Black Women’s Health Imperative has been committed to addressing the most pressing health issues impacting the nation’s 22 million Black women and girls for over 35 years. During these challenging times, we are focused on equipping women with factual data, resources and tools to help navigate the growing impact of COVID-19 on our communities and families.

Today, we launched coronavirus.bwhi.org, which will be a frequently updated location for culturally relevant tools and tips about health and safety, emotional wellness, parenting, healthy lifestyles and financial literacy during the pandemic. Our goal is to continue to support wellness in Black women from all facets, especially in times of heightened stress. We will feature content from government entities and trusted media and organizational partners, but also from health experts and community leaders who work closely with the Imperative and understand the unique needs and concerns of our supporters. Updates will be posted frequently, and following us on Instagram (@blkwomenshealth), Facebook (@BlackWomensHealthImperative) or Twitter (@blkwomenshealth) will be the fastest way to be alerted of new developments.
